My mouse pointer disappears when I am typing

Cause: Mouse pointers typically remain available when you are typing on the keyboard; however, a setting can be selected that makes the mouse pointer disappear when you are typing.

To prevent the mouse pointer from disappearing, follow these steps:

1. Click Start--> Control Panel--> Mouse.

2. Click the Pointer Options tab--> Under Visibility--> clear the Hide Pointer While Typing check box and click OK.
