Cause: Most mice have a scroll wheel that is located between the two keys. This makes scrolling through documents and Web pages easier. However, if the setting it too high, you may have difficulty scrolling.
To prevent the mouse wheel from scrolling too quickly, follow these steps:
1. Click Start--> Control Panel--> Mouse.
2. Click the Wheel tab--> Instead of using the One Screen at a Time button--> choose the Following Number of Lines at a Time option and configure it for three lines at a time.This scroll setting works best for most people.
